I have finally sent my Everest book to the distributor. All going well the book should be available by the end of the month through eBookit. Thereafter by early October on Amazon and finally through ibooks by mid October. I am very pleased with it. The President of eBookit was very complimentary about the photography, particularly the people photographs. The tome has taken two years in total to produce. A year after being in Nepal I started to write it. And yes it has turned out as I envisaged it. It is many respects a modern day version of Hagen's seminal Nepal masterpiece. But focused on the Khumbu. It has a larger geological content in it which I feel is appropriate given the research that has gone on since Hagen was a geologist in Nepal in the late 50's early 60's.
